MCA: new schedule

Getting started in February 2021
This year’s new students will start their master’s programme Management of Conservation Areas officially in February 2021.
‚Due to the corona crisis, the world right now is in a state of emergency. This also affects our normal course of studies. We decided for February 2021 as new start date for the master’s programme since nobody really knows how long the current situation is going to last’, explains scientific director Michael Jungmeier.
It takes students normally weeks, sometimes months to organise everything for their application. ‘Thanks to the new start date in February 2021 we make sure they get the time they need to take care of study grants, travel arrangements and the like.’
What’s also new: As of now, the master’s programme comprises 4 instead of 8 modules. ‘This makes it easier for students to combine working and studying, since they are only required to attend one presence session in Austria each semester’, Jungmeier elaborates.
Despite its postponement the master’s programme Management of Conservation Areas remains as popular as ever. For further information visit:

There are places for 25 students. We therefore recommend early registration.
