Forest Museum. Exhibition Concept for the Styrian Eisenwurzen
The Silvanum Forestry Museum has long been a permanent feature of the Styrian Eisenwurzen Nature and Geopark. It is located in a historical building and offers insight into the history of the region, the harvesting of wood and the use of wood today. The third floor of the museum is currently used as a location for travelling exhibitions and for the National Park cinema. The Steirische Eisenwurzen Nature and Geopark is now planning a new exhibition on the third floor of the Silvanum Forestry Museum focusing on forests and climate change.
E.C.O. created the content and design concept that serves as the basis for implementation.
In a total of three stakeholder workshops, possible content and design ideas were collected. These were discussed with the client and transferred into a coherent and exciting concept that conveys the different facets of forest, the commonalities of different forest types and the importance of protected areas for the region's forest.
