Environmental approval procedures. New guidelines help individuals and companies

Aspects of nature conservation and environmental protection are playing an increasingly important role in approval procedures. In a project initiated and financed by the Carinthian Economic Promotion Fund (KWF), accompanied by our expertise, two guidelines on the optimisation of environmental approval procedures have been developed. The guidelines published in 2020 provide applicants with specific information and support about key success indicators of approval procedures with regards to planning, preparation, communication and consulting opportunities. The main aim of this follow-up project, together with the KWF, is to communicate these two guidelines and inform the public that these guidelines exist so many people can benefit from them.
