Team Outing 2026: Active Across Three Countries
By train, bike and rafting boat between Tarvisio, Radovljica and the Sava
This year’s office outing took us through Austria, Italy and Slovenia by train, bike and rafting boat. From Tarvisio-Boscoverde, we cycled around 60 kilometres along the Sava to Radovljica. On the second day, we swapped our bikes for the water and explored the river landscape of the Sava on a rafting tour of almost ten kilometres.
Even away from our everyday work, nature and ecology remained firmly in view: Kingfisher, White-throated Dipper, Grey Heron, tufa springs and interesting riparian vegetation provided plenty to observe along the way. Two active days filled with movement, good spirits and time to connect as a team.
