Working for biodiversity
Summer field season at E.C.O.

The mapping season is in full swing - and our team is working hard for nature and biodiversity!
Our colleagues Daniel, Tobias and Thomas are currently out and about in the St. Veit district, mapping biotopes for the state of Carinthia. At the same time, another round of vegetation monitoring is starting in Metschach - an important contribution to observing changes in the plant world. At the end of July, the next stop will be the Berchtesgaden National Park: Surveys will be carried out there as part of biodiversity monitoring. In addition, three mountain pastures from the mountain pasture project will be examined again. Mapping is also carried out in the Altberg Natura 2000 extension area - here Dani collects basic data for the management plan.
Another summer dedicated to biodiversity and research!
