Hohe Tauern National Park Master Plan
By means of the master plan, those responsible for the National Park want to set the physiographic development goals for the Carinthian part of the Hohe Tauern National Park for the next 20 years, in the course of which, the setting up of wilderness areas in an adequate size and number is given particular emphasis. The development of the technical principles and spatial data analyses is carried out by means of the Integrated Nature Information System (I.N.I.S.) which was developed by E.C.O. Based on that, and in cooperation with regional and international experts, the main features of the master plan are worked out and cartographically represented in workshops.
