Registration for the European Nature Academy is open!
Europarc, the umbrella organization of Europe's protected areas, is an important network and focal point in the field of nature conservation and management of protected areas. The Europarc Federation offers a wide range of services, from conferences to specially developed guidelines and specific courses.
Our colleagues Sissi and Ines visited this year's Europarc conference in Leeuwarden, which was held under the title "Where nature and people meet in harmony" and felt very comfortable among the many experts. A total of 470 participants from different areas of nature conservation came together to discuss the future of Europe's protected areas.
We are currently cooperating with Europarc in the LIFE Enable project, in the course of which the European Nature Academy is being developed. It is aimed at protected area managers and offers courses on topics such as stakeholder participation, communication and management techniques. A special focus is on forest and marine ecosystems.
Registration for the new free European Nature Academy course has just started and will run until November 4, 2023. 100 participants are sought for the first round of the European Nature Academy.
