First MCA graduates

Congratulation!

We have great news. Our staff member Elisabeth Wiegele has graduated with flying colors from the Master's program "Management of Conservation Areas" at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences!

At a graduation ceremony with students, teachers, board members, alumni, partners, colleagues from the UAS and from all over the world we celebrate this memorable event. Hanns Kirchmeir and Tobias Salathé, as lecturers of the MCA, emphasized the importance of this education for the future of conservation worldwide.

The internationally oriented Master's course "Management of Conservation Areas" is primarily aimed at those responsible for nature conservation and biosphere parks and takes into account the growing need for training and research in this field. The master course "Management of Conservation Areas" was developed by E.C.O. in cooperation with the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences.

The on-the-job Master´s program is designed by renowned international lecturers, leading scientists and experienced practitioners. In this master program 'Management of Conservation Areas', those responsible for nature, national and biosphere parks, but also for world heritage sites and geoparks, receive the professional and technical tools for their demanding work.
