MSc Programme Management of Protected Areas 2009-2011

With the 2009 cohort a new curriculum was put in place, which integrates the experiences of the first cohorts into the current syllabus. From 2009 to 2011 students from Austria, Germany, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Slovakia, the Ukraine, Romania, Bangladesh, Uganda, Serbia and Tanzania took part in the course and went on excursions into protected areas in all of Austria’s neighbouring countries. E.C.O. is mainly responsible for the course content and the organisational processing, and is the main contact for students.
