In the summer of 2005 the municipality of Weißbach bei Lofer tasked E.C.O. with supporting them in planning and setting up a natural park. In an intensive discussion process we worked together to develop the goals, measures and structures for the future natural park. One of the future focal points will consist of adding value to the Alpine areas and extensive green spaces through tourism and the regional economy. The structure provides for close cooperation with the adjoining Berchtesgaden National Park, and it is planned to make better use of synergies than has been done up to now. The opening of the natural park is planned for 2007.
